^ It is what it is but Danny's gonna knock it out of the park as per usual. It's just tough to watch when it's a character you love who is suffering because of things beyond their control and dealing with it in the most heartbreaking way.

Ok I know that technically this is a great shot of Danny on a beautiful day on the set of Emmerdale. But I got to say the lady who doing his make up has some amazing hair and I'm a bit jealous.

It kinda sad/funny that in real life Danny is such a happy-ish guy (at least how he comes across) when Aaron's more sorrow.

I'm actually excited for the boxing SL coming up when Aaron returns this week because it's something for him to channel his anger/pain into and he can also properly learn to defend himself in the event that Jason turns up again.

Yeah it could be a really good way to get a lot of pent up stuff out in a more healthy way.

^ It's definitely healthier than bottling up his aggression because that just leads him to trouble everytime he bottles up his inner pain.

I just hope that when they have Aaron boxing, that they don't use it to be a part of his self harming.

I have never been a big fan on how Emmerdale uses and shows self harming.

He will.

Mainly because it's an addiction and something easily to fall back into. Some days it's harder to fight against than others.

And also because Emmerdale has never really treated Aaron's self harming well. There have been times when they have released media that I don't think they realizes is so triggering to people who have and do self harm. And I don't think there have been messages of letting the public know about these scenes before airing them. Or if there have been any, "if you have been affected by the stories portrayed," type of messages so people can reach out for help. Though I'm in the States, so I can't know a hundred percent, just what I have heard.

Which has always been a big issue with me. I'm glad they have him getting some actual help and really focusing on his own mental health though. And actually sticking with it and not just for a little bit like before.

When in the past, they have barely touched on that. Because Aaron must always be the tortured, sad, suffering gay man with a tragic love life and those perfect tears on the show. Which I hate because it's one insulting, two Aaron would be in padded cell by now after all they put him through, three it's not at all balanced or realistic to life, four it's depicting a horrible image of people like Aaron to the public and those who have endured events similar to Aaron. Basically saying there is no hope, they are constantly doomed, that in some ways everything they have been through is just for the drama and awards and will just be a loop of none escapism.

My poor boy he's returned from dublin with his walls built up pretty darn high to keep Robert at bay.

It'll always be a worry that he could slip into that but at this point in the story I really don't think he will because he's got his boxing to focus on as an outlet for his anger. Also it wont be too long until Liv returns and she's tipped as having a big storyline when she returns which Aaron will be involved in so he will have numerous things to distract him.

True he will have distractions, but I could see Emmerdale trolling it out as drama instead of an actual proper story.
