Same here! they have definitely been one of the most intriguing parts of DOOL lately although I STILL love Ciara with Tripp, I am intrigued to see where this relationship goes.:nod:

I had stopped watching Days but everyone was talking about these two so I thought why not. I'm really liking them. :)

Before I wasn't interested in Ben, all of a sudden he's become one to watch.

Did Tripp cheat on Ciara or did she misunderstand the situation?

^ I knew Ben was crazy but I found his character intriguing.:eek: Probably because nowadays I am starting to enjoy the villains.

I think Ciara misunderstood the situation.:shrug: Ciara BROKE UP with Tripp and told him that she didn't want to see him anymore.:( She told him that probably the issue was that she didn't want to sleep with him...

Anyway, Tripp was so heartbroken and down and than Claire came back to town talking about how she broke up with Theo... and it was CLAIRE who pushed in for that kiss... and at first Tripp moved away telling Claire that he doesn't think they should be doing this at all so they seperated and than continued talking and Claire told Tripp that they should do this because she remembered the crush that Trip USE to have on her before his relationship with Ciara... so again, she kissed Tripp and they took of each other's shirts but Tripp shockingly pulled away again... he thought what they were doing was stupid.

Trip said he can't believe he would even make out with someone 5 minutes after Ciara broke up with him so he told her it ain't happening... Claire was of course hurt and shock and when they were about to get dressed up, BAM! Ciara walked in....

So basically technically Ciara/Tripp were broken up since Ciara was trying to push Tripp away but even with how mean Ciara was to him, he couldn't really fully cheat on her even when he was vulnerable ....

For me as a viewer, I love Cin but I also love Ciara/Tripp and feel mostly bad for Tripp right now....

I never cared for Tiara.

I don't see much between the actors but honestly Tripp bores me.

Ben used to bore me too ironically.

Ben/Abby just didn't work with the actors at all.

KM/BF had the chem. with Chabby 2.0

The only thing working for me with CIN is the actors acting & chem. together.

The writing still has Ben blaming everybody else for his actions.

I don't think that is gonna change.

Jack/Jennifer worked for me & majority eventually b/c Jack stopped this!

Jack eventually realized he had to accept responsibility for his actions with raping Kayla.

He was in rage out of jealously too.

Jack had just found out about Steve/Kayla from pictures!

I need Ben to blame Clyde & not this crap about about snapping b/c Abby cheated making him kill at least.

Ron not winning me over at all with that at all.

I'm glad we are getting mostly blaming the child abuse in the most recent CIN scenes.

I don't expect to get much better writing from Ron though.

I'm having to lower my standards here shipping.

I'm still struggling with the fact Ben was a serial killer.

He just better not hurt Ciara!

That's the one thing right now that will stop me from shipping CIN.

Right now I am 50/50 about them, I love their chemistry but I just hope the relationship doesn't get rushed.

And for me I do NOT believe that Ben has been blaming Abby at all, I think it's just what we watched on televison...:shrug: Abby cheating was the trigger for Ben's mental break... of course it's not Abby's fault he became a serial killer but what we watched on television, that was when he started acting physcho.:shrug:

So, I do love that the writers are digging more deep into his dark past and not just Abby.:nod: But unforunately you can't mention his past without mentioning what happened with Abby since he became obsessive and all of that during that story.

I don't see the comparison when it comes to Ben and Ciara when it comes to how they've been wronged since Ciara got recasted and than returned to Salem acting like a b*t** to everyone.:rotfl: She was disrespectful to her mother, started the rivarly with Claire and than suddenly turned all good and wanted her mother to be with Rafe even though he slept with someone like 10 minutes after breaking up with Hope and all of a sudden she's the victim.:shrug:

Ciara has NOT been wronged by everyone in her life.
I just think after her rape she should have went to therapy or something since that's a difficult thing to get over...

I just don't want them rushing things because it's sort of starting to feel that way a little bit since she only spent like the first 2 episodes being scared of him and now she seems to trust him more than anything. lol I'd rather that slow down a tad.:nod:

It's ridic for Ron to write a Dr. diagnosing Ben losing it based on finding out Abby cheated on him.

That's not gonna be the cause of someone becoming a serial killer.

It's years of child abuse from his dad & watching it with his mom & sister.

This is true of Ben before the necktie killer SL.

So it's not like this would be any kind of retcon excuse either.

Plus Ben killed a man in Florida before even coming to town.

Clyde covered it up.

The other writers need to clue Ron in on this.

Ben was already a killer even before he met Abby.

Today was good with Ben finding out about Ciara's rape & letting her know that he doesn't see her as damaged.:love:

I want things be slower for CIN but it's not gonna happen.

The actors are making it work & selling still more for me than anything.

^ I think that is my main issue with Ciara/Ben right now is that it sort of feel like it's going in a quick pace... I feel it just needs to slow down a bit.:shrug:

But as you, not sure how much I trust Ron on that.

Everything else with the story I am enjoying.

Enjoying watch Cin bond. The actors are bringing this unexpected dynamic alive.

Watched yesterday's episode and Ben is losing it without his meds. :eek: I hope he calms down or Ciara is able to reason with him.

The end of episode not included here Ciara was in the middle of a fire but I know Ben didn't do it.

He left to get his meds.

The way things are being written though he is gonna get blamed of course but Ciara will believe him.

This reminds me of classic JnJ in a way too. :sigh:

Jack would see his 2 dad's bio Duke & Harper like this at times.

We never had him go crazy from it but he did struggle seeing them both telling him how he would only hurt Jennifer for example.

Bio dad Duke raped his sister Adrienne & beat his mom. Harper turned out to be a serial killer that adopted him.

It's diff. with Clyde telling Ben in his head to hurt Ciara & not trust her but the writing is similar b/c both Jack & Ben struggling to be good men again after their terrible unforgivable actions.

Their scenes has definitely been perfect and so many people are invested into them.:love: It's so beautiful to watch thus far... especially when Ciara talked Ben out of his state! she really got through to him.

Love every one of their scenes so far!
