As for the Baby switch storyline, this week is it. I will give it a chance, though I am highly skeptical and angry that MiMo has to be involved. Binks has had enough torture.

I will say this though, I will be looking forward to how this affects the Erica's relationship with both Kendall and Binks.

ITA with this whole post. I have for the longest..wondered why they make it out that Sam isn't even around..its always that dumb squealy voice girl Maddie..that gets all the lines.

Yes i too held my breath, after wondering if what i thought i had glanced out of the corner of my eye that weds(??) to see that it was really Bobby rescuing the kids. Well when i heard Sam ask who was Bobby? i sat back and waited too...to see what Bobby's reactions and answer.

KUDOS to Kendall [img]smilies/thumbs_up.gif[/img] - i couldn't believe how she barked at Erica. So she is finally seeing Erica for the real woman that she is.... i know i know..Erica is reliving something and is on the verge of a nervous breakdown (yada yada, yada)...

AND about the babyswitcheroo.... Ok, we all know that Ms Piggy & her momma crys-Tal are hayseeds..but give me a freaking break. [img]smilies/jaw_drop.gif[/img] what neither heard of 911 or *69?

You know, I'm sure it has to do with the whole biological thing. Besides the fact that Maddie actually looks like a kid Maria would have. It really sucks that it's played that way [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img]

As for the baby switch, I read the wildfeed for the big merging episode tommorrow. It's a stunt, plain and simple. Because the shows don't merge whatsoever. The only people on OLTL involved in the storyline that are on is Kelly and Paul [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]

WORD. I was cheering Kendall on for laying into Erica and in front of everyone. I am tired of everyone walking on egg shells to protect Queen Erica (including her daughters). I am seriously fed up with Erica's drama (though it makes good television viewing). Its high time she got treatment for her ordeal that happened decades ago. The well ran dry on that sympathy vote for her on her rape issues a long time ago.

I love Reggie. He was like Erica, why could you just leave Binks alone. Take that Ms. Kane.

I actually liked yesterdays (Mondays) show. Will be interested to watch todays show.

I have no clue as to a title for this thread.

Today's episode was definitely just a ratings stunt. It was no "two hour seamless episode" or whatever it claimed to be. It was clearly two different shows.

I find OLTL incredibly boring so I'm glad it's being written where each storyline will stand on it's own.

I really can't see this crossover baby switching thing lasting twenty or thirty years like they are hoping it will. It isn't popular with AMC or OLTL fans so hopefully the idiots in charge will take a hint.

Yeah, I think I've made up my mind on this baby switch thing. I definitely am NOT liking it at all. It's just too incredibly cruel. Paul is not going to be redeemable at all from this point out.

I read an article that McTavish said she's seen the speculation on the net about the switch, and we're all a bit off on what really is going to happen. I don't see what that means, but I guess I'll just keep watching. AMC only though, OLTL bored the crap outta me today. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

As there was nothing else to do while sitting through OLTL, I started thinking about Paul.

The way he was acting with the baby was interesting. I mean, he hardly spared a glance at Miranda but with Babe's baby he was acting all...I don't know. Like he really cared about it, maybe? And when he was talking to the baby he said "you're as strong as your --"...your what? Mom? Dad (Paul)?

Plus, Babe asked if JR was really the dad and he said "You wanted JR so it's JR."

Now originally I thought Babe saying that the baby could be Paul's was just BS to get him to do the test for her. But with his comment and how he was acting with the baby, now I'm not so sure.

Maybe Paul really is the father?

Like I said, I had nothing else to do while sitting through OLTL... [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

SO McTavish says we don't have a clue. MAYBE just maybe an [img]smilies/angel.gif[/img] is looking out for us All My Children watchers and she will rush this storyline. Since the net has stated that this could take years. OH PLEASE!!!

I missed yesterdays showing...however i caught the end. I wondered how was it that Greenlee saw the helicopter...and yet isn't Paul faking a crash? But he was safe on the ground waiting for Kelly..hiding from Jamie with the baby...and OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS ME [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img] when he was talking about how strong the baby....was 'like..' YES i too agree that he was thinking of himself.

OK finally able to comment on Tues./Wed. episodes.

Hmm what to say. Oh yeah? WTF. The inconsistencies are driving me crazy. I mean I know we are supposed to suspend belief. This is daytime TV afterall, but come on. Kelly who got pregnant sometime around the new years (as best as I can tell) will be able to pass off a baby who like a months shy of his due date.

Then they have Paul telling Babe & JR that baby MiMo is there baby. And no one questions this. Babe knows damn well she had a baby boy. She also delivered MiMo and knows what she looks like. So are we supposed to believe that she will actually believe this baby is hers.

And lets not forget Binks. She spent several hours with MiMo. Once Binks gets a peek at MiMo are we supposed to believe that she will not recognize her baby? Lets not forget that MiMo was pretty much on time and is a full term baby (minus 1 week early). Babe kept going on how her baby was a premature.

And lets not even talk about the fake helicopter crash. Heee there is not even a dent on that helicopter. But yet everyone was thrown from it and the radio is busted up.

Did both girls give birth while wearing jeans?

BTW, looking around the net, what has got everyone up in arms isn't so much that there is a baby switch storyline. Its that MiMo is involved and the fact that Binks will think MiMo perished in that helicopter "crash". hasn't this character been tortured enough. She deserved some real happiness for a change.

Oh and where is Lena. Uh why isn't she searching for Bink?

Like I said, I know we have to suspend belief, but come on. They could have come up with something better than this.

BTW, this is just a pure guess, but I change my mind. I think Paul rather than Jamie is Babe's Baby daddy.

This entire baby switch storyline seems like a major ratings stunt. It makes me wonder if the rumors of them combining OLTL and AMC in the future may actually happen.

I really just hate to see any baby switch storyline. I don't enjoy seeing a mother and child kept apart- and a mother bonding with a child that isn't hers. I'm just hoping it wont last too long.

A little late, but I loved seeing Kendall give it to Erica the way she did. I'm not that big of Kendall fan, but I really agreed with her.

Yes, this baby switching storyline is pretty much just a ratings stunt. They want AMC fans to watch OLTL and vice versa. I'm surprised they didn't do this in February or wait until May for sweeps.

I do agree that Bianca has definitely been through way too much over the past year or so. Leo's death, the rape, the trial, etc. Now she will be grieving for her child. I really just wanted her to have baby Miranda and be happy for once.

This reminds me of when Erica stole Maddie from Maria. That was enough baby switching for me...

Also, Lena isn't around because she is "in Chicago" and doesn't know what is going on. Maggie didn't want Lena to worry so she didn't call her.

Glad I'm not the only one thinking Paul is the father. I am so waiting for someone on OLTL to say that the baby looks like Kelly.

For those of you not tuning into OLTL (I have just been skipping to the baby related scenes) Kelly and Kevin named Babe's baby today. His name is Asa after Kevin's grandfather but they are calling him "Ace" for short.

Even the BAMers think Lena missing this entire week is really odd. I mean it's happening because Olga was taping for MI5 for two weeks, but still, her absence is really noticeable. I'm curious to see when she pops back up, and if she's going to give Maggie hell [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

As for the baby switch, Kendall nearly broke my heart today when she realized Miranda was gone. I can only imagine how many times worse it's going to be with Bianca. No doubt Eden will kick butt, but still, the poor girl, actress and character both, have been through the ringer. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img]

What the hell is up with all my children? I mean, don't get me wrong this show is one of the best in my opinion right now. The storylines all are kicking ass. However, after all the things Binks has gone through, why have her think her daughter died.. and give jr, and the hooka opps I mean babe, her (binks) daughter!! This pisses me off to no end. I'm sure this will all be sorted out soon and her daughter will be back with her.. but it just annoys me all this switching baby crap that happens on soaps. Can't any couple just have children without any problems of some sort? I really also HATE the Greenlee & Ryan crap, Ryan belongs with kendall not greenpea!!!! The only time I ever enjoyed that character was when she was with Jake and Leo. I HATE KELLY AND PAUL WITH A PASSION!!!!!
