Yep that's it! They're comfortable with each other and not afraid to show who they really are. There isn't a constant need of seduce eacher other or being a dream boy/girl. A couch, two beers and they're happy!

That's one of the things I love most about the style of this show. They can be split up and we don't have to look for subtexty moments in the present (though obviously there ARE some!) to keep us happy - we still get to see them as a couple through the flashbacks! I think it's the only reason I can make my peace with Robin not being the mother!

yeah, i kind of wish we didnt know know she's not the mother.
i am still hoping even though she isnt the mother, somehow, they end up together LOL. either way, i agree with you Rach. i love all those flashbacks because then we get past robin/ted moments. |
