Even though I knew she wasn't the one, I enjoyed their moments as a couple and I think they had great chemistry together.

Also curious to find out how Robin ends up living with Ted in his 31st birthday.

I LOVED them together! However, I don't want them to end up together. They had the most beautiful break up, and they are still amazing as friends. It was so sweet in the last episode where she was trying to hide the Barney thing until she was reminded of what they shared when he brought up that picture. She still deeply cares about him, I am glad that its not in a "I want to be with you" way though.

I loved their breakup. If they had to break up (which obviously they did, because she's not the Mother!) it was the perfect way to do it. And the fact that they kept it a secret for Lily and Marshall's sake was just so mature and... sigh! I love this show so much. It just gets better and better.

That's my opinion too... I loved them in s1 & s2, but I think we should more towards Ted/Mom now... As great as they were together, I'm not sure I'd like them to hook up again.

I liked that they got the possibility of a one-night hookup out of the way early on after the breakup, too. So I don't think they'll go there again.

Yeah, I actually liked their one-night post-break up hookup. It was handled nicely, but it didn't cause too much drama.

i agree with you guys.
i do really love ted and robin, but i especially love the fact that the writers didn't butcher them or made any attempts to get us to hate them.
their break up was done really well and it happened at a point in their life where they probably were more in love than ever, but had to break up because they weren't looking for the same things. it just keeps them in a positive light in my mind which is why i will always love what they shared in seasons 1 and 2.

I like how in the s3 premiere, during the recap he said "Robin and my future had an expiration date." It's true... if one feels differently about having a family and settling down, it's time to admit to that and move on. I like how they did remain civil (despite sleeping together that one night).

Awww. All this talk of season 2 episodes is making me nostalgic. I think I'll bust out my dvds today.

I'm excited about Robin living with Ted, even if it's just friends, I still love their scenes together.
