What about the idea of his kids being imaginary? I read a fic like that. Something like the theory for Lost that everything is in Hurly's head? The idea was that Ted is delusional and makes up the whole story. It was interesting to read, but if they do something like that, I would be happy that I started watching this series slightly late, because wasting 8 years for such finale will piss me.

Have some ending like Sympathy of Illusion, where the kids just disappear at the end. I would chuck my remote/cell phone/laptop/lamp at the TV.

I don't think they will do the same with Ted's like they did with Robin's.

No, I can’t imagine Ted’s kids being fake either. That would miss the whole point of the show, and I would be so disappointed. It’s bad enough they did it with Robin’s kids

I don't know which one to use. Some want 1 and some want 3, now i'm thinking we should go with 3 it's the most logical one.
