I feel a little like BR's reaction to not being in foursome kinda out of character, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't lay in bed and eat ice cream and be sad. :lol: I think it was mostly because it was Marshall and Lily that they "broke up" with. I don't think they would care if it were anyone else. :lol:

It certainly was, don't think they would have cared at all if it wasn't ML

I agree with Barney being a bit out of character. The writers seemed to be all over the place with him.

I think they thought the fans wanted him to stay a womanizer but realized later that the fans also wanted him to grow. :nod:

That's gotta be tough for a writer to balance your own artistic vision with fan expectations.

that is true but I do also think that writers should take in what the fans feel and how the characters grow and the chemistry between the actors and how they work together. :nod:

I always hear about Dawson's Creek and how the head writer wanted Dawson/Joey together at the end but when he saw how well Pacey/Joey worked and how liked they were, he ended with them instead. :nod:

yea, it was when BR had game night at ML's and Marshall and Lily were trying way too hard. :lol:

Okay, guys... in accordance with what mod manager Chris suggested, I'm just putting the Ted/Tracy stuff from the OP of the BR/ML/TT thread into the OP of this thread, and I'm just adding Ted/Tracy to the title here. I've closed that other thread. I'm really sorry about this. But having two threads with BR/ML and the only difference between the two is that Ted/Tracy are added to the other one makes them a bit too similar. That, and the fact that the three couples were only together in that one scene in the finale, where they crammed TT entire storyline into a half hour. So I hope you'll all be okay with this, and I apologize if there was any inconvenience. :group_hug:
