yea, Barney/Nora is surprisingly pretty popular.

she's always second place in the 'who should Barney be with' polls.

not everyone, just occasionally Barney and Ted.

I feel the same about Quinn.

honestly, I don't really find any of TBR's love interests very interesting.

besides Tracy and Victoria in season one. Nora was a little too perfect but she did help Barney realize what he wanted and help him grow a bit.

Quinn was kinda of a caricature of a stripper but she did help Barney realize that he wanted things he thought he didn't before but I didn't find her very interesting at all and she was a bit obnoxious and Barney was more obnoxious when with her.

I feel like we got to know Nora and bit more than we did Quinn too and why Barney wanted to be with her (Nora.) Kevin more than Nick helped Robin realize she was ready for things she thought she didn't want and also helped her grow and realize what she was looking for. Nick was kind of a placeholder but he did help Robin realize what she didn't want.

Zoey and Stella I think helped Ted grow a lot and learn how to become better for the girl he married.

Well, I kinda agree, but you already know what side of the discussion I'm on.

Okay, I think you're being a bit hard on Quinn, but I see your point.

But remember that the writers really didn't have much of a long term story arc intended for Barney at the beginning because they envisioned his character as being more like a Jack Black womanizer character, remember? I think with Neil they were sort of laying tracks down while the train was in motion as far as his storyline went.

it's funny cause it is a bit of a reason I don't like TR.

yea, no because they had plenty of time to create something for him and they did, his season six storyline is awesome, such growth and season seven was good in him realizing things. I mean he actually did grow so much through the seasons so they did have a storyline for him, they just were stupid.

I'm hard on everyone.
