I just grew to love The Mother SO. MUCH. After 8 years I remember thinking that it would be REALLY hard for TPTB to actually create this person who has been built up for all these years and have her live up to everything, but they totally did. She was PERFECT. And perfect for Ted. So I just find it sooo weird that they went with this ending.

I thought the mother was so perfectly cast. They couldn't have done a better job. Her and josh had amazing chemistry and to see the little bit of their life was wonderful .
The ending was just so awful I can't stand it and can't watch their scenes again.

First date, first kiss, first meeting, both proposals, seeing them with the kids

It's just a dark ending for a sitcom, having the mother dead the whole time. I also do wish we saw more time of Ted with Tracy especially since Barney and Robins wedding was doomed.

I appreciated the alternative ending video... so amazing, thank you for doing it. I will like to say that even, we didn't have the chance to see more of Milioti's character, she did an outstanding job creating The Mother.

She did in few episodes that others can't do in a whole series, to give Tracy a beautiful personality and make us care for her.

Finally, does anybody know if Cristin Milioti has presence in any social media? Just to stay in touch with her future works.

She's not on social media that we know of, but she is doing a pilot, so we may see her in another show come the fall.
