Just starting the show and it's really, really good. I love Neil Patrick Harris and his Barney is, well...legendary.

I freaking love the commentaries! I liked season two's, but I was bummed they weren't done as a group. That's what made the first one hilarious to me.

I totally agree! I just finished a marathon rewatch of my S1 DVDs last night (I've been watching them while using Wii Fit, it passes the time!
 ) and the full cast commentaries really were hilarious. I hope there's at least one on the S3 set, even if they want to do individual ones again.I love the gag reel so much. It really shows how awesome the cast are together when you see them mucking around - particularly the bloopers from the green testicle story! And I love Jason saying NBC and Alyson saying "Shall I even do it with him, or shall I just wait for the new guy?" __________________

So they don't have full cast commentaries on the S2 DVD set? That's a shame, although understandable - I was surprised there were so many commentaries with all the cast (and creators) on the first set!
 I love watching the S1 set though, especially all the extras. I still laugh at the bloopers, even after having seen them so many times! Jason's laugh never fails to crack me up Alyson is so cute on the commentary for the last ep too, getting all excited about Amy Acker and Alexis  I never knew Neil and Amy were best friends either, so that was fun when I heard that, hee  |

So, I'm actually a fairly new HIMYM viewer. I just started watching season one recently because a friend of mine purchased the DVDs. And I was hooked after the first episode! __________________

We were very lucky
It's rare to get so many awesome extras with all of the cast on a DVD set for a TV series - but I really love them for it! Bob Saget! Aw, I can't wait til whenever I get the DVDs and I can listen to them. |

I just got the Season 2 DVD set and there are no extras, just the episodes, but that might just be because i am in Australia
