Welcome to the thread!

You know what I love about them? Other than the fact that Jason and Cobie are hilarious together in their scenes, it's the fact that no matter how opposite Marshall and Robin's view points on, well, just about everything are, they always end up having a heart-warming moment in the end. And they always end up either supporting each other or letting themselves believe the other's ideal, even if just for a moment.

Like in this episode, even though Robin isn't a grand gestures kind of girl, or a cutesy rituals kind of girl, in the end, after Marshall explained why he and Lily do it, it's like for a minute we saw the romantic side of Robin peek its head out. "Let's go get your woman!"

I love that they are polar opposites but that they always rub off on one another a little bit.

I posted this in the Barney/Robin thread, but I thought I should post it over here too.

Since we've been getting a lot of Robin/Marshall lately, maybe instead of Robin telling Lily, she'll tell Marshall how she feels about Barney. And it could either be drunk or sober, at one of their home-away-from-home bars? lol
If that did happen, I think it would be funnier watching Marshall try to keep a secret than watching Lily try. They both suck at secret keeping though.

I love this friendship, and I'm so glad it's been showcased in 2 of the best eps this year. I love that they can have very opposite views on things and get each other back for them, like the snow fountain, and it still not be a big deal.

I love that too. And I love that we've been seeing more of that friendship this year.

And about that car scene... am I the only one whose first thought was "wow, that snow looks soooo fake"?
