My mother hates sitcoms (it took her like a year to accept my TBBT obsession and I still don’t think she’s accepted this one) and she normally doesn’t find them funny, but THAT part had her laughing.

Not Britney Spears (although I thought she was funny too) but the other lady, the one that Barney left in an apartment and then she sort of followed him around, she just kind of shows up sometimes

I think it makes a lot of sense to make her a recurring character considering shes the only 'actual' link to the mother we have right now
