I was shocked to hear about it.. I don't live far, but used to live there. I had some friends in the area when it happened and it made me scared. Thankfully they weren't involved. My heart aches for those affected.

From what I read, the army never documented that he was discharged for domestic abuse (against his wife and son), which made it still legal for him to get the weapons.

Some of the things about him remind me a lot of my ex fiance. I thank God everyday that I'm alive and that I got out of that situation.
