it was an engagement party so clearly I had to go big.
I wasn't hungover really, just moving a bit slow and felt a little tired. I'm watching season 9 on tv and it isn't as bad as I remember. I mean, sure there's filler and I would have rather not have it all in one weekend but it had some great moments.  still not going to watch the finale though. __________________

well, I got to watch the rehearsal dinner today.
   I found this on Tumblr but this was on the CBS site and you could actually RSVP to their wedding. I love it, though I'm a bit confused on them being enemies briefly.. they went all out for BR, man. __________________

it was one of my oldest friends.
I think the rehearsal dinner episode was one of the best moments. I love the picture too, they look pretty bad ass! and the invitation is so them. apparently they had BR wedding merchandise too. I wonder if I could find anything.. it's just really clear that because NC had the better chemistry, Barney was the most popular character and BR were the most popular paring that they kept them going to make sure they kept getting good ratings. let's be real, if BR never got together it would have ended much sooner. they used NC just to screw them over in the end.  completely destroyed their characters.  I miss them.  __________________

me too, they said and did all these things and then at the end were just like "lol, just kidding." so annoying. I feel like even if BR hooking up in season three helped with the ratings, they would never admit it.
I think they resented (well, Carter clearly did.) that BR and Barney were so popular which is why they crapped all over them. the show was pretty much their love story from seasons 4-9 clearly.I'll just never understand it.       __________________
