(Mario Kart Wii is my favourite thing. But Wii Fit is really fun, especially the balance games! and the step aerobics.)

My friends and I all got Skype so that we can swear at each other while we play Mario Kart online against each other

We're used to swearing in person on the DS version, y'see

I only have it for the DS but "Mama" is evil! If you do something right, she has shining eyes and looks all proud and it says "perfect!" but if you mess up, her eyes are on fire and she's all "FAIL!!!!!!!"

It scares me!

Yeah, that so sounds like stuff my friend would like. Hehe. I'd imagine it would be scarier on Wii than DS since it's, you know, a bigger screen.

I daren't even contemplate it on a Wii!

Though I have too many games I've barely played because new ones come out and my friends make me buy them. It's stressful!

I actually don't even have the Wii board. It seems fun but I don't think I'd spend my money on this... I'm already spending way too much on stuff that can be potentially considered unnecessary

One of my friends has Wii Sports, it took me forever to get the hang of it and not think how stupid I looked to everyone watching the bowling was my favourite one by far. I don't think I'd ever get one for myself though; I spend all my free money on DVD's and books right now.

Same here. It's got to the point I'm calculating in number of DVDs/books every time I'm buying something else. Like e.g. a shirt I saw today = 2 DVDs ergo I didn't buy it

I've actually lost about 4 pounds since I got Wii Fit (and I'm not even what the thing considers to be overweight) so it definitely doesn't seem unnecessary to me

I had to intention of getting a Wii at all but played on my friend's last year and went home and bought one the next day, it was just so much fun. Totally worth the spend.
