^ I have always been the same. I hate exercise. I always have... but I joined a gym a few months ago when I realised how severely unfit I am and am now one of those drones who walk (and I mean walk... I still refuse to run) on the treadmill never getting anywhere

See I tried liking sports but when I started school, I had a horrible PE teacher. One day she demanded to see my parents because I didn't know how to play soccer. I was freaking 7. Stupid woman ruined any potential fun a kid could have playing. Ever since I firmly avoided anything sports related. Although I had a snowboarding phase when I was 17. And tennis for the reasons I already mentioned

I once had a PE teacher tell me I threw like a girl. I couldn't help but laugh in his face seeing as it was an all girls school!!!

I always try and stick to non team sports. Im a bad loser and tend to get a little grumpy when I lose. Best to have myself to blame.

I suck at sports and I don't like them. I can do the yoga thing and the swimming thing but that's about it.

PE just sucked. I'm a big girl, always was and all the tiny girls looked so cute in their horribly designed shorts. I was bitter before the exercise even began.

I was awful at PE in school, the only thing I was vaguely good at was badminton . When I left school I found myself more interested in going swimming, playing tennis etc - I suppose I didn't like it when I had to do it but given the choice it was OK.

The shorts we used to have to wear were atrocious; really shiny blue nasty things and I had the palest legs out of everyone by far so they looked even more ridiculous on me.

I was really awful at PE in school, too. I was never strong enough, fast enough or bothered enough by PE grades to enjoy these
Plus in high school when it was warm we always had our PE class on a stadium near this park thus we usually ended skipping the class and staying up there.

wow I can certainly see why you'd skip class and stay there. We always had to go down to the local leisure centre in the summer and it was horrible - really out-dated everything and nothing good nearby to sneak off to.

Looks like the good weather is over for the moment; we had a week of sunshine in England and now its back to grey skies and drizzle. I seem to remember this happened last year too as it was brilliant weather the week before I went on holiday to Sussex and when I did go a week of intermittent rain .

It's back to nice weather again in York after being a bit dull yesterday and the day before.

I have decided that Wii Fit is definitely the best form of exercise ever!

Ditto to that!!
I didn't really like PE either, not such a big sports fan really... I liked badminton and volleyball, I guess, but the thought of being graded about how I was doing felt awful. My weakest class, by far!

Louise, if it makes you feel better, we don't have great weather in Montreal right now either
