Mel can probably do it better justice than me. It's just alot of bed hopping and underhandedness that I associate with soaps, the acting is far superior though. Peter 'I'll never get an Oscar' O'Toole is even in the 2nd season.

Yay, more Cavill love!

Mandy - He's my favorite too.

Rhi - Man that sucks that it's still slow. I'd be irate too.

As a history buff this type of stuff bugs me in movies and TV shows, so I can see why it might make it less enjoyable for you. I try to ignore it and focus on the entertainment aspect of it which works for me when the movie or TV show is good.

It sort of it is, but it's not made up. His life and his wives just make a really good soap premise when you think about it.

I find the show interesting because it is true. Fascinating stuff. Though as we've mentioned they have played or changed some stuff up for dramatic purposes.

You know what is silly? Flies. They have gazillion eyes and yet they can't find a freaking huge open window. Sorry. I'm trying to get rid of one atm and it annoys me.

That's funny, I have the same problem with bees. I freak out when it happens to as I'm allergic.

I hate flies. Every summer I consider moving somewhere fly-less.

Bugs scare me too. Everything except butterflies, I'm good with butterflies.

Are there fly-less places?

Butterflies freak me out. They all seem pretty but up close they're just as nasty as any other insects. Yuck.

ETA: I'm not sure if you celebrate or not but Mel! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!

I went to the Theatre to see an adaptation of A Streetcar Named Desire on Wednesday - best thing I've seen in a long time and incredibly acting, especially from the actor playing Stanley. After that we went to see the new Indy film, I did it enjoy it but it didn't really have the feel the other films did, enjoyable enough though.

Mel, hope you have a good one.

So I tried that peanut butter cookies recipe Mandy gave me, but had to include some modifications and it turned out kinda odd I added coconut milk coz I had it in my fridge and it would waste otherwise and I only had leftover brown sugar (I hardly use sugar) so they're not as sweet as they could be. But other than that they're good. Peculiar in taste (probably that coconut milk's fault ) but good.

I'm planning on seeing Indy tomorrow night. I think I'm just gonna take it as any other movie because if I compare it with the previous ones I know I'll be disappointed for the simple reason I'm nostalgic about them.

Rhi - Even butterflies scare me.

Do - Thanks so much. The cake looks delicious. But too pretty to eat.

Thanks Louise.

Awesome. I love going to the theater.

So far I'm hearing mixed reviews on the new Indy film. I'll be seeing it sometime this weekend.

The peanut butter cookies sound good even with the changes.

I think my cinema trip to see Indy will switch to Sunday. Tomorrow night's Eurovision and it's tradition to watch its utter cheesiness

I'm going to see Indy on Monday, as a last hurrah on the long weekend.

Mel.

You people are crazy. Butterflies are pwetty.

I love Eurovision. I'm glad you reminded me, I'm so going to watch it tomorrow night.

I don't get all the fuss over Indy, but I think I'll be in the 5% of people that won't see it.
