The # symbol is usually on the 3 key. You just hit SHIFT and hit 3 and it types the # symbol.
Are you typing from a phone? If so, then you have to hit the key at the lower left side with the smiley face and the numbers, and that will switch the keys from letters to numbers and symbols. __________________

You'll have to find the hashtag # symbol on your keyboard. It should be printed just above whatever symbol is on the button.__________________
