I watched it. I was rooting for the Packers and I was glad that they not only won, but they finally have a defense for Aaron Rodgers to work with. I think he'll get back into a rhythm now that he's got this one game behind him. I think that so many teams resting their starters in the preseason may have been a mistake and it makes me worried about Carson Wentz because he didn't play in the preseason either. At least they're playing against the Redskins, who are terrible.

OMG, did you hear about Antonio Brown? The Raiders cut him before he even had a chance to play for them. That was quick. But he's got no one but himself to blame. But guess who he just signed with? The Patriots. Yep, your Steelers are now gonna have to face him every time they play the Patriots. That means the Eagles are gonna have to face him this season as well. But he's not going to be able to play tomorrow, though.

Hi, Sam! Wow, you missed a great game, Sam. It was one of the best Monday Night games in a decade. After Deshaun Watson led the Texans on a last minute comeback drive using only two plays and two long passes that resulted in a touchdown that put the Texans up by one point with 35 seconds left on the clock, Drew Brees, with only 35 seconds left, led the Saints on a three play drive with three passes that put the Saints into field goal range and used their last timeout so their kicker could kick a game winning, career long field goal to win by 30-28.


I just hope this Antonio Brown thing gets dealt with quickly. The Patriots don't need this drama going into this season. Neither does the NFL.

I hope you do get a new show and a new ship, Katie. I'm looking for the same thing. I haven't really loved TV since the 90s. TV in the 2000s started off great, but then it all collapsed. 24, Lost, Heroes, etc. Even Chuck disappointed me in the end.


It was an awesome game, Sam. And did you see the Panthers/Buccaneers game last night? I think Cam Newton has lost it. His days in the NFL may be coming to an end.

Oh, I hope the Pats end up paying for it, Sam. I don't expect Brown to stay with them after this season.

Yes, I agree, Katie. I feel like the great era of TV ended in the 2000s. I hate all this streaming and all these reboots and remakes. And TV today is trying too hard to be politically correct to be really good. I'm glad I have football.

I'm sorry the Steelers lost to the Seahawks, Sam. I really hope that Ben is okay and that it's not a serious injury.

yea, a lot of shows just don't interest me now, it sucks. I don't mind the streaming but the reboots and remakes are getting a little old, I want newer stuff!

modern family and criminal minds are on their last seasons and it makes me sad.
