The 49ers were a losing team with him at QB, and his Super Bowl appearance was a fluke considering that he had to take the place of the starting QB who was injured. But I don't think his protests really changed anything other than the NFL, not what he was actually making a statement on. I get why he did it, just think kneeling at the anthem during a game is aiming at the wrong target. The issue is with police and unjustified use of deadly force, not the flag. I don't mind the Redskins finishing second, as long as they don't beat us or make it to the playoffs.  __________________
