Yep, that was him. Oh, and one of Alyson's Buffy co-stars was also a guest star on HIMYM. Amy Acker, who played Fred on Angel. She was one of Barney's exes who taught Ted how to do a Native American rain dance to keep Robin from leaving with Sandy Rivers in the season 1 finale.
