No, but some of our instructors performed Reiki as an optional class as part of the eastern medicine course we took. :nod: Chinese medicine, Shiatsu, and Ayurveda were part of that course, and one of our massage instructors was also a Reiki master. :nod:


How long have you been going to Reiki sessions?

I have had my Reiki attunement last weekend only (which mean I can give Reiki), but I have received regular healing sessions (not just Reiki by the way) for about 3 or 4 months.

Did you like receiving Reiki ?

Yes I did. :nod: It was different, and somewhat calming. One of my classmates broke down into tears from repressed memories though, which was sad. :(


Have you ever tried acupuncture?

yes I have

What happened to your classmate was part of the healing process. It is good to be free from repressed memories. Healing can be cathartic.
Generally, 5 sessions are needed to see a change, otherwise it is not much more than receiving a relaxing massage.

TPBM has practiced Chi Gong ?

I have in my martial arts classes. :nod: They call it qi gong.

Well, she broke down after only one session, and she went on to take Reiki classes from that instructor and become a master herself. :nod:

Well, the instructor makes a living from Reiki, but he also does massage therapy, so I guess it depends.

I thought I would, but it turned out to be a lot different than I thought, and I didn't really feel like it was right for me. :(
