Round One!! Episode 1 - Do I Know You? Ted and Stella get engaged, but Ted soon learns that he doesn't know anything about her. Meanwhile, Barney confesses to Lily that he's in love with Robin. Episode 2 - The Best Burger in New York Marshall claims that he had the best hamburger in the world during his first week in New York City, but he forgot where the burger joint is located. The gang then hits the streets of Manhattan to help him find it. Episode 3 - I Heart NJ Ted does not want to move in with Stella because he hates New Jersey. Robin prematurely quits her TV job because she incorrectly thinks that she already has a new job. Episode 4 - Intervention When Ted is packing his stuff for his move to New Jersey, he discovers that the gang was going to hold an intervention for his engagement to Stella and demands they hold it anyway. Ted, Robin, Marshall, and Lily all begin getting cold feet because of their imminent life changes, and Barney tries to prove that he can pick up a woman while posing as an 80-year-old man. Episode 5 - Shelter Island Ted and Stella move up their wedding date, but the wedding may not go off as planned after Ted breaks the "No Exes Rule" and invites Robin to come in from Japan for the wedding. Episode 6 - Happily Ever After A chance sighting of Stella leads to the gang contemplating ways in which they'd handle an unwanted encounter with a person from their past, while trying to hide from Stella. Episode 7 - Not A Father's Day Barney creates a holiday to celebrate not being a father. Meanwhile, Lily and Marshall are considering having a baby, but Lily first wants advice from Ted and Robin. Episode 8 - Wooo! A birthday party for one of Lily's co-workers leads to Robin connecting with a group of single partiers known as the "Woo Girls". Ted presents a plan for Goliath National Bank's new HQ. Lily is disappointed to discover that Robin is secretly a "Woooo! Girl," and Barney secretly sabotages Ted's chance to get the contract to design a new bank skyscraper. Episode 9 - The Naked Man As Ted tries to get back into the dating game by asking out a girl he sees in the elevator at work, the gang learns a new way to get their dates to sleep with them after Ted walks in on Robin's date sitting naked on the couch. Episode 10 - The Fight Ted—to prove he's not a milquetoast—and Barney—to impress Robin—pick a fight with a group of guys sitting in the gang's favorite booth at MacLaren's. Episode 11 - Little Minnesota Ted tries to keep his irresponsible sister from hooking up with Barney during her trip to New York, and Robin starts hanging out with Marshall at a bar for Minnesotans, not telling them that she's really Canadian. Episode 12 - Benefits Ted and Robin discover that sex with each other solve their fights as roommates, which makes Barney very jealous and angry. Meanwhile, Marshall reveals that he's too embarrassed to use the office bathroom. Episode 13 - Three Days of Snow During a historic blizzard, Ted and Barney get an opportunity to run their own bar, while Marshall and Lily try to defy the odds and continue one of their cherished traditions. Episode 14 - The Possimpible Robin needs to find a television job in seven days or else she loses her work visa, and Barney volunteers to come to her aid. Meanwhile, Ted, Marshall, and Lily consider cleaning up their resumes. Episode 15 - The Stinsons Suspecting he has a secret girlfriend, the gang follows Barney when he leaves MacLaren's and discovers he seemingly has been keeping a family secret from them. The guys find out that Barney is pretending to have a wife and son to make his mother happy, but the charade is blown when Ted makes a move on Barney's "wife." Episode 16 - Sorry, Bro Ted meets with his ex-girlfriend from college--a girlfriend who cheated on him constantly and Marshall and Lily can't stand, and Marshall tells the story about how he forgot to bring his pants to work. Episode 17 - The Front Porch Ted becomes angry with Lily when he finds out that she has been sabotaging all his relationships that she did not approve of, including his relationship with Robin. Meanwhile, Marshall defends his wearing of a nightgown to bed. Episode 18 - Old King Clancy Marshall and Barney lie to keep Ted from finding out the headquarters he'd been hired to design for GNB has been cancelled, and the guys try to figure out which Canadian celebrity Robin slept with. Episode 19 - Murtaugh Barney attempts to complete in a single day all the tasks from a list Ted made to prove the gang's not too old to do them. Meanwhile, he challenges Ted to complete a list of things they're too young to do yet, while Marshall's over-competitive side comes out when he coaches Lily's Kindergarten basketball team.. Episode 20 - Mosbius Designs Ted goes out on his own as an architect and hires an intern to help get things started, but all he helps himself to is Robin. Meanwhile, news of impending layoffs at GNB has Marshall looking for a schtick to make him indispensible. Episode 21 - The Three Days Rule When Ted violates the 'three days rule' by continually texting with a girl he's just met, Barney and Marshall retaliate by impersonating her. Episode 22 - Right Place Right Time Ted explains to his future kids how a series of unrelated events led to a chance encounter with a former girlfriend. Barney makes the 200th notch in his bedpost. Marshall goes overboard when he discovers GNB has a department that can make him charts and graphs. Episode 23 - As Fast As She Can Stella's boyfriend Tony breaks up with her after having a conversation with Ted, prompting Stella to come back to Ted with a surprising request. Ted continues trying to land a client for Mosbius Designs, and when Tony tries to help nothing goes as planned—for either of them. Barney tries to smooth talk his way out of a ticket. Episode 24 - The Leap As his 31st birthday nears, an all-nighter to try to get business has Ted realizing he may need to pursue another career than architecture. Meanwhile, Marshall tries to get him up to a rooftop surprise party. While Ted struggles with his unorthodox architecture project, Robin finds out that Barney is in love with her, and Marshall threatens to take a long-considered leap from the roof to a neighboring building.
