Wow, that is so tough! Granted it's mostly because of the first two Halloween movies but after that he stepped back from it so I'm gonna go with Wes Craven as I love a lot more of his movies

 But what about John Carpenter's Kurt Russell trilogy - Escape From New York, The Thing, and Big Trouble In Little China?  Those are also my favorites. The only stuff I liked from Wes was A Nightmare On Elm Street and Scream.  The Hunt For Red October or Crimson Tide? __________________
