Oh, speaking of Alexis!

My friends and I saw him in a play in Liverpool (England) last year (wait, no, the year before! It was just after S2 started in the US), and we waited at the stage door for him. We told him how we're huge fans of HIMYM, and how much we love Alyson's new hair. He said she did it for fun and the writers let her keep it, and he loves it too, he thinks she looks great!

We had a great conversation with him about the show - he'd been in England so hadn't seen the first three episodes of S2 that had aired, but we'd all downloaded it so we told him how good it was, he was pleaseed! And then we gave him two badges that my friend had designed on CafePress - one for him, and one for him to give to Alyson.

He loved it!

You can't quite make it out there, but the badge is an "I believe in the Cockamouse" badge!

The funniest thing was he said he was going to go back to his hotel and call Alyson, and promised to tell her we were such big fans. He went off one way, and we went the other. Sadly either he forgot something or just went the wrong way because minutes later, he came back past us, on the phone. I think he couldn't get through to Alyson and just didn't want us to accost him again (we politely ignored him, hee!) but as he walked past, he said "Oh hi Ted!" into the phone.

Which of course made us all dissolve into giggles as soon as he was out of earshot!

Alexis was one of my fav appearances on HIMYM. I also loved Camryn, since I was a huge fan of The Practice!

Weeks after she drew glowing reviews and strong ratings as a guest star on the CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother,” Spears will return to the show on May 12 to reprise her role as a sassy office assistant named Abby.

“We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again,” series executive producer and co-creator Craig Thomas said in a statement.

“And just to head it off at the pass this time around: Yes, Mom, Britney’s very nice and no, I can’t get her autograph for you,” Thomas added, jokingly.

A network spokeswoman also said the episode would be shot sometime this week in Los Angeles.

In her March 24 debut on the series, Spears’ character fell for the show’s leading man, Ted, played by Josh Radnor, only to end up angry at Ted when he started dating her boss.

In her return appearance, Abby tries to get even with Ted by pairing up with his estranged pal, Barney (former “Doogie Howser, M.D.” star Neil Patrick Harris), who “pops a surprising question to Abby,” according to a CBS synopsis of the plot.

Spears’ first appearance on the show last month drew 10.6 million viewers, up sharply from the show’s season-to-date average audience of 8.1 million.

The mostly positive reviews also gave the performer a rare burst of upbeat headlines amid a torrent of highly publicized personal problems in recent years.

Spears, 26, rose to fame as a teen star with a series of chart-topping singles, starting with “Baby ... One More Time.” By 2002, she was named the world’s top celebrity by Forbes magazine after earning $39.2 million in a single year.

But her fortunes turned following the breakup of her marriage to Kevin Federline in late 2006. She passed in and out of rehab, lost custody of her two young sons and was hospitalized twice for psychiatric evaluation.

In recent months, however, Spears’ life seemed to be back on the upswing under the guardianship of her father and a reconciliation with longtime manager Larry Rudolph.

Her appearance last month on “How I Met Your Mother” sparked speculation that Spears might branch out further into acting, following a successful guest turn in March 2006 on the NBC comedy “Will & Grace.”

I think as well Alexis was a good choice... But I am not into Mandy Moore...
I heared about Britney returning... I don't know if I should like it... I liked her being on the first time, but a second

I'm Actually excited for Britney. I thought she was pretty funny. I love her ending scene with ted when she thought the flowers were for her.

i would like to see Seth Green guest-star.... i love how him and Alyson play off each other so well on-screen

My friends all have Cockamouse badges, and we also gave Amy Acker a lemon law badge to give to Neil. We saw her put it in her jeans pocket, who knows if it got that far though!

I would like to see Richard Kahan (Marco in the 4400) guest star. I'm biased (as you might see from my sig, I run his site

) but I've seen him doing sketch comedy live and he has awesome comic timing, and he's Canadian, so he could be related to/a friend of Robin's. I've got it all planned out!

I actually liked Britney's appearance on the show, she was kind of funny as the weird dorky assistant and then her laugh lol...but the ending was funny

I thought the James Van Der Beek character was funny, but..was it me or...did he seem to have more of an Irish accent then a Canadian accent?

Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd sooo should be on the show, even more so now because of the Sarah Marshall movie

Awesome question.

I'd love to see more of the cast of BtVS guest star in any way shape or form. And I agree, Seth Green is definitely a favourite out of those and he and Alyson are awesome together. And I'd definitely like to see some of the old Freaks and Geeks on there too. Especially James Franco.

I'd love it if he brought back Carlos the Dwarf.

My favourite guest appearance was John Cho's; I thought he was brilliant in Kitchen Confidential which funnily enough was up against HIMYM in 2005 before it got cancelled.

Sarah Chalke was another good one, the chemistry she had with Josh was excellent and I found myself really rooting for her to agree to go out with him.

I couldn't stand Enrique (please never act again) it just was uncomfortable to watch when he was in it

Russell Brand! I know you either love him or hate him but personally I think he's brilliant and it would be awesome if Jason arranged for him to make a appearance.
