I, for one, am SO PSYCHED! They said they wouldn't have a baby until they saw all five doppelgangers, they never saw Barney's, and now if that isn't actually Barney then UNIVERSED!

I was wondering why I'm not dreading going back to class tomorrow, but I think it's because of a new ep!

...OMG! It was such a good episode, overall, but the countdown (which was genius and very creative) but for that to be what it was counting down too. I couldn't stop crying. Jason/Alyson sold that final scene. My God!

Alright, so since I couldn't come on here last night I went looking at other forums and the way people responded to this episode annoyed me so much between bitching about it being serious and I've seen alot of Jason bashing too. This was a very good episode.
- The countdown was a creative touch. I liked it. - The episode rocked with continuity. Laser tag! Robin Sparkles! Those google things Ted made back in the superbowl ep. - The return of Sandy Rivers! - Robin/Ted plot was cute. - Scherpoopy. - Barney trying to convince Marshall to play laser tag with him was fun. Granted the shipper in me wishes he asked Robin, would have been a nice throw back to Zip Zip Zip. - Double dosage of NPH. And also now that they have seen the true doppleganger it makes me wonder if Lily will be pregnant soon. - Lily/Marshall freaking out about being fertile was fun to watch. And yes we already knew thanks to future Ted that they were fine but it was still fun to watch. And to go back to the doppleganger, he's actually the one who said they are good to go. They tied all of that together nicely. - The game of go fish over the phone. Hee. - Marshall's parents going on and on while he was in the bathroom I was cracking up while his mom is yelling to picture her in a two piece. - All of the dad stuff It made it obvious where the plot was going but it was still nice and his dad dying The way the ep was done made it be a real gut punch but I was expecting something like towards the end and the last shot of his empty workroom confirmed it. After all the episode is called Bad News. - Alyson still is the master of crying. And Jason did well too, alot of people bitch that he wasn't upset or real enough but I think he did it perfectly. Marshall is 100 percent hyper always in a good mood and positive type of guy, I would completely expect him to be stunned and not know how to react to news like that. - Finally it was bound to happen sooner or later that the show tackle death and the fact that people are getting pissed over it is stupid. I get that it's a comedy but it's suppose to be about real people. Real people die. It happens. I just hope subsquent episodes give the storyline the respect it deserves. __________________

This episode was awesome. Loved the return of Sandy Rivers, seeing Marshall's parents and the little bit with Robin Sparkles.
That last scene. Wow! Talk about a punch in the gut. Alyson and Jason did such a good job. I felt myself getting a little teary watching |

Thank you for booting up the forum, I was having withdrawal symptoms after last night's bolo punch ep!!!
Oh, oh, oh, my poor Marshmallow. Oh. My. God. I lost my mother last year to cancer, and when he said, "I can't deal with this....", I bawled with him! I think this may be an Emmy-nominated episode. The plot changes and the pace was fresh and reminiscent of my favorite season, 2. __________________
