2) is it only me who has the feeling that barney sometimes seems left out of the group a little bit? even robin - who is not that long a member of the group - seems to be 'better integrated' than barney somehow ... i don´t know how i should explain it, my english is probably not good enough for that *lol* but today on tv they showed the episode again where barney asks the group to help him get his things from his mothers house and they all immediately said: no and doesn`t seem to care about it at all ... it reminded me again of it ... if it would have been any other of the gang, they would have helped right away ... i know that barney is a character who is not easy to be friends with, but that scene made me kinda sad ... barney did a lot of things for his friends, got marshall, ted and robin a job, got lily back from san francisco, gave lily and marshall all those awesome things he won on the price is right, etc .. but to be honest i can`t remember one thing they did for barney ... maybe because i have a bad memory maybe i take this show too serious ... i know that barney isn`t always a good friend too (at least on the surface), he is not a saint ... but it still bothers me somehow ...pS: okay i remember some things, so it is my bad memory, but still ... No, not at all I think Barney has always been the kind of person who doesn't like to open up so he might feel left out but he's never left out. They are all close, I think some are closer to each other than some but they are close. __________________

I can see that, we never really get moments where Barney's being open about stuff, we've definitely gotten more recently then not normal, but still not much.

I get what you mean, and while I watched the first three seasons I felt the same way too. It seemed to be getting better (for my point of view) when Barney had that bus accident
 I don’t know. But I agree that they all love each other and would – as the title says – do anything for each other  __________________
