Seriously??????????? I am really sad right now, and I knew this was coming. But I was so sure it wouldn't be over for good, but it just felt so final. The end tag was promising though.

I don't know what kind of crack the writers were smoking when they were coming up with this whole ridiculous breakup episode, but I want some. Because if I had some maybe I would understand what the f***k just happened!!!

The whole episode felt so unnatural, and that is what I am going to hold on to because I can't imagine that the writers would end a three year build up like that! It is so unlegendairy

Seriously, worst episode ever

made no sense. None whatsoever. I cannot even come up with a single way to justify what just happened so I have no clue how the writers actually thought this was a good thing

last week they were bragging about having sex in 83 beds, and deciding the didn't care about the "real stuff" and would rather go have sex in an elavator. This week they no longer have sex, Robin hates hearing him talk, Barney no longer cares about his appearance (I know it was exagerrated but still) and they decide get married because it's easy?! If they think the fact that they were fighting last week is enough build-up to this, then.. no. It isn't.

The only plus side was everyone talking about how much they loved each other and even Robin saying it. So there's still hope there, but.. the break-up seemed so final. Like.. we really suck together, we're too similar to make it work, we're better off as friends. Since hearing about the breakup I've always been confident they'd get back together sometime in the next half of the season but I don't know, it just feels like.. how do they get back together after that?

And the last scene just made me sad because it was as if they were expecting us all to get excited over "Daddy's home" and the old Barney being back

Barney immediately ditching his newfound singleness to go search for Robin's variety hour show was pretty awesome though, heh.
