So I've been wondering:
What do you guys prefer, Robin finding out about Barney on her own, Barney telling her or someone from the gang telling her?

Oh I want Barney telling her about his feeling for her but then act like normal.

I can actually see it happening this way! He'd tell her and then act all normal while she'd be all confused and probably in shock

I think I would like her to figure it out on her own. I mean, she's always been written as a very smart and intuitive woman, so it would make sense if she realized it on her own at some point.

However, I agree that it would be great is Barney told her himself like it was no big deal

Her finding out would be great, but him telling her would be awesome as well!

I think I would like her finding out any way really as long as the writers make it great Barney/Robin-wise!

Either way next season is gonna be legendary!!

Heh I'm not sure if I trust Robin's intuition in this case. She's not very good when it comes to emotional stuff so I think I'd like it better if Barney told her and left it to her to figure out what next. Then she'd have to share the news with Lily because I doubt she'd knew what to do and I bet it'd be hilarious.

I'm loving all of the different scenarios. Any one of them would be great. It would be so cute if Barney actually told her, but if he did they would probably stretch the storyline out until the end of the season. That would still be fun if we had really cute scenes though. There are just so many ways it could go and I love having no idea what to expect.

I can definitely see them going this way - Barney not telling her till the finale and her reaction being the cliffhanger. But then again, how are they gonna fill the episodes before that happens? Do you think they'd make Barney secretly pine over her the whole season? Because I can't see it happening without the gang noticing. It could be the typical scenario where everybody knows he has a crush on her, except Robin herself.

Oh I can definitely see Barney all awkward around Robin after his realization. Robin is a bit oblivious to things, so I totally see the gang realizing before she does. I just don't see them going the whole season with Robin not knowing until the finale. I'm hoping maybe for February or May sweeps she'll find out, then we get to see her figure out how she feels about it until the finale. Maybe the cliffhanger will be her confessing that she loves him. One can only dream...

I'd love to see that but at this point, I can't really see it happening. Ok so they will have 25 episodes to build up Robin's feelings for Barney and to be honest, I wish it would happen without her knowing about his feelings (I want her to fall for him all on her own)...

I know that it probably won't happen that way, but it seemed so adorable in my head. Very un-Robin like...but still adorable.

Do you think Robin would be able to figure out how Barney feels? When it comes to relationships, she seems to really fight the emotional side of it. I'd love for her to fall for him on her own, I just don't know if she would without someone helping push her along.

See, I have absolutely no idea. I honestly think that Robin's the most unpredictable character on this show and the one that I can never really figure out. I think we're lacking a lot of elements to her personality to truly know how she could react. So who knows... She does seem kinda closed when it comes to feelings, but then again she's perfectly capable to overcome this problem.
