I wish the writers still believed in that comment from the pilot. I have hope for the theory going around though - while the story is about how he met their mother, Robin is his wife.

I don't know if I would like that, because I don't like what would have to happen for them to get there. A divorce sounds bitter, and even worse would be if they killed the mother.

But, yeah, I'd rather Robin marry Ted than Barney. They were such a better couple.

It's very possible, i still could see T&R reunite in the end, even after everything, i mean they took time through all the seasons, to build Ted/Robin, to talk about divorce (Ted's parents), about stepmother (Zoey), and a looooot of others things that happen in real life, and right now this season seems to be very HARD for Ted/Robin shippers, because it's all "in the face" with Barney/Robin story, like they want to kill any hopes we had, they're suddenly making Barney and Robin into some true love couple, and it's just not working,, it's not them, it's too "in the face", too cliché, and i just cant stand it, because what is left for us to watch ? what is left for us when it seems they already told us how it'll end ? it CANT be that simple, i want to be surprise again, because right now this season is so boring and hard to watch...i just want to believe that this season, and this horrible wait, will pay off for us in the end ! :)

Yeah, I also feel that BR is forced. They weren't a good couple, their relationship destroyed them and they don't feel right together. But aren't we, TR shippers, and not approving of BR a minority? Thinking about what the writers/producers want, wouldn't they prefer to please the majority? I really don't want to sound like a nay-sayer, but these are all the things that go through my mind when I think about the possibility of them ending up together.

I dont know...it would feel stupid to just go with the majority when you have a story to tell, as a writer it should not be that way, sure they can try to please as much as they can but in the end they should stick to what THEY wanted to do..

And in a lot of shows, they didnt always followed the majority...so really i dont know, it's hard to tell, when right now it seems to be over for us, but still they gave us some hope, when we already thought we had nothing anymore... they cant give us that and expect us to forget it just like that... I really hope there is some twist in the end, because it really feel forced at the moment, i've never been a BR shipper, but i actually kinda enjoyed them somehow, but now, that not the case anymore, they annoy me, the way they brought characters to say something like "Look that's love" talking about BR, it make me sick, it's just totally forced, and that's why i have doubts about it, and believe that maybe it's planned to be that way, so they can please the BR fanbase, and in the end it will go full circle with the episode pilot, with Ted and Robin.

I refuse to give up, they're the only ship i love that much, they're perfect :love:.
