Aww, thanks so much for the pic, Amber! I love how her shirt is wet in that scene as well.

I hope everyone is having a great day! I saw this comment on YouTube regarding the finale and wanted to share. I think it is a wonderful analysis:

"Young Robin is a young woman full of pride, hope and ambition looking down excitingly and curiously about a strange guy who is after her in an unreasonable and ridiculous way. The old Robin is an old woman who has succeeded, has traveled, has married and divorced, looking down with surprise and indescribable gratefulness to the man who has never abandoned her the whole life. For the young Robin, seeing Ted is like seeing a new place that she never saw before. For the old Robin, seeing Ted is like "going home".

Thanks, Amber! Yep, I'm doing well.

Aww, that's a beautiful analysis of Robin! Thanks for posting that! Who left that comment? I'd like to thank them.

I thought the same thing! I can't remember their name but it's in the himym ending scene video under top comments. He/She was replying to a comment that "Tracy was a baby factory so Ted could get with Robin" lol

Man, I hate comments like that. But I'm glad there are more people who watch the finale and know why it had to end like that.

So here's that scene from Best Prom Ever that I love!

Ugh me too! I quit defending it because it's exhausting

"Ted and Robin never worked why would they work now"
"It's called how I met your mother not how I how I met your Aunt Robin"
"Robin said she doesn't love him and never will"
It gets old and I seriously get a headache reading all that nonsense

I love they way they look at each other..they always have that special look for each other

OMG, I hate all those statements that people make. But I've always made a counter argument for all of them.

1. Ted and Robin did work, they just weren't ready to be with each other in 2005, and by 2030 they had grown and changed into two people who were ready to be with each other.
2. It's called How I Met Your Mother, but it's not called "How Your Mother and I Lived Happily Ever After." And the title of the show had nothing to do with the story because the mother was never shown over the course of the first eight seasons.
3. Robin does love Ted and she said it in season 2, only she had never said it to anyone before, so she said "falafel" instead.

Relationships can be interpreted many different ways depending on who's looking st it and what they take for it. It's really not worth arguing about with most people anyways because they have their opinion and chances are you won't change their mind

Oh, I know that, Mark. But usually I point out things that the writers actually put into the show that are part of the Ted/Robin narrative that led up to their ending, which is different than interpretation.

Hi, Amber! Nice to see you back!

OMG, is that the scene where he asks her to be his back up wife?

Thanks, Alex! I'm on vacation but I will still stop by here

Yes, it's from "The Front Porch"..it was Robin's idea to have the backup deal but looked so surprised and happy when Ted "proposed"

Really? I hope you're having a great vacation, Amber!

The Front Porch. Is that the one where they imagine being old people in the future?

Thanks, Alex!

Yes..Lily kept imagining what the front porch would look like with Karen and Robin being married to Ted. To me it was another clue that the only way Robin and Ted could end up on the front porch together is by individually growing and achieving what they wanted out of life. That's why the 40 deal was included in that episode
