I do think that Robin had some feelings for him. You don't rely on your ex-boyfriend so much if you are completely platonic. With that being sad, I think that scene was more about her doubts over Barney (which makes me wonder why some people think that divorce came out of nowhere - it didn't).

So I would have loved to get one scene where Robin speaks those words. I know that the subtext includes them. But still... I mean it was their endgame.

Incredibly annoying that they bothered with B/R so much just for fan service. Because otherwise Ted could have moved on a bit earlier and we could have gotten more of Single Robin being in love with Ted.

Barney and Robin never worked and Barney brought out the worst in Robin. Barney should have married Quinn.

I'm still happy I got my endgame because I never believed I would. But TPTB squandered so many opportunities.

About the TR delete scene
Mhh I think her and Robin are the love of his life. In the pilot Ted said :

"Plus Marshall’s found the love of his life. Even if I was ready, which I’m not, but if I was it’s like, “Okay, I’m ready! Where is she?” (Spots Robin)

FT: and there she was.

So Future Ted called Robin "the love of his life"

Then Future Ted added :

"It was like something from an old movie. Where the sailor sees the girl across the crowded dance floor, turns to his buddy and says, “see that girl? I’m going to marry her someday”

I don't like how now because of the pression of angry fans, he can't say that was their plan all along to make Robin, the one or at least one of his great love of his life...
