I'd love to know as well, just because I'm curious, but i have to agree that I love that it's a bit of a mystery. That's the thing with the character of Barney - from the outside he seems so easy to define, but he's like Shrek. He has layers

I know! I've found it disturbing as hell... And this is precisely why I don't like magic tricks. It's freaky and leaves you all WTF and feeling like an idiot because there's no way you can figure out on your own how such things were done...

It was a funny episode. Doogie had to sneak into the hospital in disguise because he was suddenly a TV star (long story).
