Once, they were childhood friends who didn't get along.
Tied by their families, both were forced to be homeschooled together for two years.
Nine fateful years later, they were brought together by a show,
playing the cornerstone couple, spending lots of time together while shooting,
which eventually made them realize how much they were meant for each other.

Keeping it discrete at first, Penn and Blake have been subject
of talks about having an offscreen relationship since the fourth
quarter of 2007. Sightings kept on coming, yet, pictures were
scarce. But despite their declination of confirming their rumors,
people never gave up on pursuing what was up between the two.

On May 2008, People magazine posted pictures of these two
canoodling and kissing in a beach resort in Mexico.
That was enough proof for everyone.
Since then, Penn and Blake kept on spreading their love
on the streets of NY, during events,
while shooting Gossip Girl, and even in front of their parents.

Last night (August 26) at 7:20 p.m.
( I checked my watch just for you GS!)
I crossed paths with Penn Badgley and
Blake Lively on the main concourse of
Grand Central. They were just walking
through like normal people and no one
seemed to notice them. I thought it was
cute they were holding hands.

Gossip Girl beauty Blake Lively turns 21 today--
but don't expect to see the actress hanging at
the nearest bar! Blake chose to ring in the big
day with good ol' fashioned burgers and her
boyfriend, Penn Badgely! The couple grabbed a
bite to eat at the famed Burger Joint inside NYC'
s Le Parker Meridien Hotel. An eyewitness says
Blake and Penn both ordered cheeseburgers with the works,
fries and milkshakes (strawberry for her, chocolate for him).
After the meal, the couple signed the restaurant's famous wall.

Yesterday afternoon I enjoyed what is
becoming a frequent New York City moment:
Catching a sighting of Gossip Girl paramours
Blake Lively and Penn Badgely, aka Gossip Girl
paramours Serena Van Der Woodsen and Dan Humphrey
(yes! It's life imitating art! They love each other
on the show and in real life!). Dan and Serena
(okay fine, Blake and Penn) were walking with a
friend down Second Avenue and turned left on 10th St.,
passing right by the outdoor brunch table I was enjoying
with equally boldface-able media types Glynnis MacNicol
and Keli Goff. Everyone was all a-twitter (yes, literally).

Spotted...Blake and Penn at Sunburst Espresso Bar.
In a white camisole, Blake was eating a sandwich
while chatting on the phone whereas the classic Penn
was dressed in a plaid button down drinking bottled water.
The two love birds looked like they had a few too many
drinks (hence the eating and the water drinking).
They were oh so cool and yet ever so normal.

Penn Badgley attended Tuesday night's All-Star
game at Yankee Stadium, the one that went
to almost 2 am. The pair were nice, posed
with fans for photos when approached,
and did NOT spend the game on phones
as one may expect. They also stayed
fairly late, although they didn't make
it to the bitter end of the 15-inning game.

lunching on shawarma and falafel. I tried to snap the best
possible picture without annoying them, but unfortunately
Penn's back is to the camera. It is a bit difficult to see, but I
guarantee that it is indeed the two of them lunching together.
