Thanks girls!
 She's perfect!  She was born yesterday at 11:58 am 6 lbs 15 oz 21 1/2 inches long. Emilia is doing well.. and I feel pretty good today! Have showered and been able to walk around and not be stuck in bed__________________

Hoping to go home today.. She had some jaundice and we had to stick around for them to get that back to normal.. She's not taking to breastfeeding very well either..

I totally can relate, B ... I did the whole breastfeed/pump/formula combo. The breastfeeding specialist at the hospital tried to pressure me to breastfeed only but I was uncomfortable not knowing the amount my baby was getting. The same lady also took the pacifier right out of my baby's mouth because she said it wasn't good for him, even though a nurse had given us the hospital-specialty pacifier. I was far too nice to this specialist person at the time and I guess tried to be agreeable to her face while doing what I wanted afterward, but I wish I had told her to bug off now lol. |

My issue at the hospital was that everyone had us trying different ways... and said don't worry about her eating until we worry. They literally weren't worried until they kept us for the 4th night... it wasn't until the final night that I pumped that I felt okay with what we were doing. The hospital was frustrating as a whole.. and I work there

Yep, I got the line of "don't worry until we worry" too ... that didn't make me feel any better
I'm glad everything is good with the feeding for your baby now - one less thing to worry about |

My sister is officially naming the baby Avery. She told her mother in law to get over it __________________
