names are the hardest to pick out because your kid is stuck with it forever. Lot of pressure

Exactly... since I work at a hospital/clinic I see a lot of what kids names are overdone so trying to keep in mind & stay away from those...

The boy name I have in mind might match a second cousin of mine exactly... but it doesn't matter if I haven't seen the kid in 15 years & am very unlikely to see them again right?

We never see my mom's side of the family.. she'll probably be the only one that realizes it... plus one of my cousins we see here and there...

So exciting but also makes me nervous... I haven't been the Dr for well over a month... my checkups are usually every 4 weeks... so haven't had the reassure that I usually get... for some reason they wouldn't do the ultrasound until 20 weeks...

Could've went outside of my Dr & paid for a 4d ultrasound at 13 weeks.. but I'm too cheap plus then I'd want to start buying stuff...

My sister is up to the point where it's every 4 weeks and she feels the same way. I told her to look at it this way if they saw something was wrong during the first few weeks of pregnancy they wouldn't have pushed you to the 4 week mark.

She has the option to find out July 3rd since she has to go for a bunch of blood tests but I think she's waiting. My sister will definitely shell out the money for the 4d scans she has no shame

I won't be doing that. Need to save my money on buying things my baby would actually need

Ahh don't worry that's pretty normal. Pretty soon you will be going every two weeks and regularly peeing in a cup.

You sound like me Dana... save the money to buy things we need... It won't kill me to wait 7 weeks longer to find out gender.. I don't need to know that badly

To the halfway point! Can't believe it has already been 20 weeks

I think once my husband sees the baby it will be more real for him. He hasn't seen anything since he/she was a blip on the screen

I wasn't sure how long it is before I go to appointments every 2 weeks...

My feet have been swelling all week too.

Well my sister and bother in law spend money on stupid things that's why I wouldn't put it past them

I'm sure their registry will be insane.

I'd rather have things like clothes, diapers, a safe nursery than see every line on his or her face

Uhh my sister is 9 weeks. She goes back in 3 weeks for chromosomal testing bc she's considered high risk so they moved up all her testing. Not sure when she goes back to every 2 weeks. I want to say when you're at 30 weeks
