This person was disapointed in the film but look at this review from IMDB.

I saw this for the first time last night and as a fan of both Buckley's music I was so disappointed by how it turned out. I will say, the film's only saving grace is Penn Badgely, I didn't expect such a performance and he stole the movie and his singing was fantastic, He's not as comfortable with his higher full voice notes, but in his defense he made the songs his own and I greatly respect that. I hope he gets nominated for at least a golden globe or bafta perhaps even an Oscar, because his portrayal was fantastic.
