I have seen mentions of both reboot and revival I don't know which one is accurate nor do I think either will happen so idk
To us he was. Definitely the most relatable and sassy. Just the way I like. I still don't know why they backed down on making Eric GG. It was thought from the beginning why change it last minute  __________________

Eric would have been a better GG imo. It was OOC of Dan plus Eric wasn't in every episode so it'd be more realistic maybe?

One of the creators said they were thinking of Eric for a few seasons but a media article spoiled it so they had to change GG.

Dan being Gossip Girl is actually a wrong fact. It just proves that the writers don't know that they are writing. Dan was anti GG and it made no sense. If he were GG, then we would have to see him do it. It doesn't matter if it was the female voice over, it still is a girl, not a guy.
