Hey Skins fans, welcome to the board!

There are a few rules that we'd like you to familiarize yourselves with before posting, so everyone can have the best time possible around here!

First, the Official Fanforum Rules. These are the general rules every poster must know before posting anywhere here on Fanforum.

Stay on topic - We have an off topic thread (check the Guide for the currently active one) to chat about anything not Skins related. On the Skins related threads, please stick to the subject.

Don't double post - If you want to add something to something you wrote and yours is the last post of the thread, edit your post instead of making an entirely new post. Double posting is considered star posting and is against the general FF rules. If a thread has been dead for too long and you have something really important to say that you want people to see, you can PM one of us moderators with the information and we can post it instead of you double posting.

Pictures - Don't quote pictures because they slow down the page when it's loading. That includes icons, arts, all kinds of images. Also, don't ever hot link, that is stealing bandwidth. There are places where you can host your pictures for free (like Photobucket).

Starting Threads - When a thread reaches 300, feel free to start a new one. If you're not sure how to, just ask, there are lots of posters who'll be willing to help you. Also, if you want to start a new thread check the Guide to see if it doesn't exist already, because there are threads that go into the 2nd page or lower that aren't always visible and easy to find. If you're not sure the thread you want to start is allowed and within the rules, just PM one of us moderators.

Anti-Threads - Right now there are no anti-threads on the board because no one felt the need to start one, so there's not a set policy about them as of yet. If you want to start one, please PM one of us moderators first so we can discuss it.

Bashing - It's fine to express yourself negatively about a character/couple/episode or anything you didn't like on the show, just keep in mind to respect the fanbases (criticize the couple, not the shippers) and not to bash real people (cast, writers, producers, etc.).

SPOILER POLICY:

• No spoilers about any new or current television shows are allowed on the television show forums, and they should only be posted on the Spoilers Forum. Information is considered to be a spoiler if it details something that has not yet been broadcast anywhere in the world. Promos that have already aired on television and small episode descriptions are not considered to be spoilers.

• Pictures
• Pictures from promos that have already aired on television or shown at the movie theatre are not considered to be spoilers.
• Pictures of clips, sneak peaks, extended promos, episode stills and filming pictures that are available on the Internet and have not been aired on television or have not been shown at the movie theatre before the movie is released are considered to be spoilerish, and they should only be posted in designated threads for the upcoming episode or movie.

• Avatars
• Avatars made from promos that have already aired on television or shown at the movie theatre are not considered to be spoilers.
• Avatars made from pictures of clips, sneak peaks, extended promos, episode stills and filming pictures should not be used until after the episode airs or until the movie is released, because avatars can be seen all over Fan Forum, and we want to respect the wishes of members that don’t want to see any spoilers for an upcoming episode.

• Episode descriptions
1. Small snippets/blurbs from TV Guide/Entertainment Weekly etc. are fine.
2. Longer episode descriptions (like for example the ones FOX provides), are considered to be spoilerish and should just be discussed on the episode discussion thread until the episode airs or they should be posted with spoiler tags in various threads on the television boards here.
