Not to be offtopic, but has anyone here bothered to rewatch season 5 or parts of it to get a reference as to "how young" the characters looked back then :lol:

It seems like season 5 happened 3 years ago with the amount of changes that have gone to the characters.

I think Franky like Mini, just wants to love something unconditional. Both Matty and Alo have commented that they don't think the girls can love anything/be with someone. But I see Mini and Franky coming together over Mini's child.

i did not get franky's baby radar. it was rather ridiculous tbh. and i didn't like a pregnancy storyline. however, i thought everything else was flawless, which surprised me. i think the changes in mini's room was unnecessary and distracting tho.

freya and will acted the **** out of their scenes and freya gives the most affecting performance.

I like the reasoning behind this but I find completely ridiculous that they have to show their ability to love through a baby? Maybe it's just my unconditional hate for pregnancy storylines on TV, but that's really not what I wanted for Mini's character. It felt forced and Franky's interest on the other hand ended up being rather creepy.
But I really think they missed what their characters were about this series and also forgot the development Mini had in S5, so nothing new :shrug:
As for the rest, I agree with everything Nia said :nod: Freya is an incredible actress and her episodes always deliver, no matter what her storyline is.

It would actually better if they show that Mini can love someone but not just the baby, maybe the baby just as catalyst. It would be so ****ing boring if mini ends up the same like her mother.

For Franky I think she'll end up better single. The whole lovetriangle is so weird again.

I think it would be a bit ****ed if Mini and Franky decide to raise the child together. It's minis baby and Frankys obsession with it it's really 9/11 weird.

It was an episode. Not sure what Alo is doing there. He has no business there. He should be somewhere else. He should be on an isolated island for ugly gingers. Perhaps he should even be exterminated. He certainly shouldn’t be anywhere near Mini. She’s too good looking for him. She’s too sophisticated for him, except she is not, by any stretch of the imagination. She’s too gay for him, Except she isn’t. She’s too everything for him. Alo is doing it wrong. He should be wherever overweight ditzy Pandora is. He should be with J.J, the mong. He should be with Anwar. He should be with Thomas the incredible disappearing negro,who has basically been ethnically cleansed from Skins lore. Shouldn’t have made that drastic mistake of stepping outside of the magical negro mold. Alo has much in common with them. He is unwanted in any context that propels him all the way forward as a true main character of the show. That’s only allowed for the attractive, and more popular ones. Alo doesn’t deserve to fall in love or think he’s in love and make stupid mistakes. His allowances are miniscule and perhaps nonexistent. I feel Skins casting should stop doing this. It will prevent more popular characters from suffering the humiliation of having to interact with such undesirable elements.

also what's with the racism **** again? thomas was well liked. he was my favoritte S3 guy. then merv got twitter and thomas' ep in S4 was really bad.
