EPISODE DESCRIPTION
Alex starts college and immediately hits it off with a fellow student. He sees something very special in Liv and draws her into his strange and wonderful world. But it can't last. Alex isn't used to having friends, and Liv invests a little bit too heavily in the distraction he provides.

Best episode so far. Alex is such an great character. I loved this episode a lot. Alex and Liv>>>>

Seems all of them are still depressed about it. The only thing i didnt like about this episode was Mini was selfish the entire episode.

I didn't think I would, but I LOVE Alex. He was the breath of fresh air everyone else needed. I love how he brought the group together in the end. I also love his budding friendship with Liv. Their dynamic reminds me a bit of Cassie and Chris. It just comes off as very genuine and sweet.

it seemed like Liv's episode as well

She had a lot of screen time

edit - they ended the episode on a boat. how effing original is that?

Still working my way through the episode but as of right now my observation is,Nick is overrated. Handsome enough but many are. This is Skins though and I suppose someone has to be the designated 'King' .or what the hell ever. So I guess he's the chosen one? idk. Not really impressed.

thanks for the link! Well of course the ratings are way higher if you count the views on 4oD on repeat for a week, thanks for enlightening us channel 4

I'm sure even S5 ratings would be stellar if they counted those on 4oD?

I still think the online premiere was a bad idea though.
Personally, I don't care about the ratings when it comes to a tv show, quantity doesn't equal quality or viceversa, (6x02 only got 400k, but it was a good episode imo) but I really think times have changed and people just don't watch TV on TV anymore, everyone is aware of it. In 2012 series shouldn't be renewed based on tv ratings, because viewers habits really have changed. Just my opinion of course.
