I agree, it really was the bet way to end Sketch's story. It made sense that she wouldn't get a happy ending or an optimistic one. Because she had done some really messed up and horrible things. But the fact that she was relatable in that last scene was perfect .

I definitely understand that Sketch didn't have an easy life, and I can't imagine having to deal with everything that was on her plate. And I do love that her character was unique and complicated, and judging her isn't something to be taken lightly. But what she did was wrong. She disregarded everyone else, she had no respect for other people and their health, it became all about her. In every way.
