And TV shows don't do well most of the time either, especially when they're running out of material and start thinking of own storylines (cough TVD cough). |

Shows/films that got me interested in the books: GoT, Dresden Files, Persuasion and Mansfield Park... Also LoTR but I did read the Hobbit as a child.

I never really got into LotR, tbh.
 Maybe one day...And yeah, agreed on TVD. I loved it in the early seasons, but the quality has really declined and let's not even start about how it promotes and celebrates rape culture... |

I read half of the book, and I watched all the movies. It's great, but I wasn't into it as much as I am into Harry Potter.
I loved it in early seasons too...I stopped on s4, it's become laughable  __________________

Yeah, I think I'd like it if I gave it a chance, but I just... yeah, for some reason, it just never really appealed that much to me.
I managed to hold out until halfway through S5, but it was pretty much ruined the moment they introduced the sire bond. |

I stopped on s4, because I got bored, but I am a Klaroline shipper, so I tuned back in for 5x11. I have to say I was rather disappointed with the writing on all accounts!
 Everything about the episode was so forced and ridiculous.__________________
