I thought I saw hair. I agree with you and Vegan you can see some. She hasn't lost all her hair, at most some had to be shaved off for an op. It's not cancer.

You're aging Naomi a bit there. She's 21 They don't have time to deal with cancer. And they won't kill another character off with an illness, too much like Chris. They won't kill another character in hospital, too much like Grace.

I think the scene will mention Emily if she's not already around. Naomi wouldn't be sobbing and not talk about love. Maybe she's scared she won't recover properly and she'd have to leave Emily but she does recover.

A brain tumour is a possibility but maybe too far fetched. I think her being a total stoner is the only excuse she needs for the stand up

No-one was prepared for that hug yesterday. I expected a tiny scene at best. I didn't expect to have my heart squeezed tightly. It is just It does make up for the deleted hug. What gets me about it is Naomily look like their hearts are being ripped out at the thought of being apart

Emily looks gutted and Naomi looks lost. The way they hang on to each other is LOVE. I'm glad to know them being apart while Emily's in NY does kill them. It wouldn't be realistic otherwise. They never liked letting the other walk away. Naomi face just screams 'don't leave me'.

Amy To think I thought Jess might not show their love properly. I was a fool. If any other scenes have that vibe then she's done a good job of capturing Naomily. Naomi is a waster but she still felt like Naomi to me in that trailer. And Emily didn't speak but she felt like herself.

I also liked the coupley drinking wine at the end Naomi cooked her dinner I do wonder how they go from white wine to red. That scene must be broken in two or it's a longish one.

How do you both feel about crying Naomi in the snow? people are freaked out about that.

Emily looks like her heart is breaking. She's about to cry so she doesn't want to leave her. It's obviously something they both agreed on and Naomi must be encouraging her to do it. But that's easier said then done every time you have to drop the love of your life off at the airport. And you won't get to touch them for ages. Naomily are savouring their closeness with that hug. Absorbing it.

I'm a little bit scared about what might happen to Naomi... I have to admit it got me a bit worried. But, thinking about it, I don't think it's cancer/tumor or things like that... because from what we've seen it looks like it might be Effy's "fault"... there's the recurring theme of Effy hurting the people that are close to her... In fact there's that guy that looks like Freddie, and it's clear that she's affected by that... she starts doing all those self destructing things again... Naomi tries to stop her and she gets hurt... Effy feels guilty again and finally realizes that she must stop...

Maybe That's my theory anyway

It is the most likely possibility If Naomi is ill I don't believe it will be anything as long term as cancer. I think she will end Fire recovered.

My thoughts exactly. That hug has got to come with a kiss. It would be so unrealistic if you only hugged your lover when they're off for weeks or months. We should defo get at least one kiss in Fire. I think we should get hand holding in the hospital and ILU's have surely got to come in the airport and hospital. Just add on a happy ending and we are done.

That sounds like a good shout. I just hope Naomi doesn't get too hurt, but maybe that's what it takes, someone close to Effy almost dying again to pull her out of her destructive mode.

I think it's got to be quite serious as Effy seems to be wearing three different outfits in hospital scenes. So she's in there at least a few days. I had a thought. Fire looks like part or all of it is set around December. That means it must be late 2013 it's set which would explain how Naomi is finished with Uni and has had months of joblessness. Anyway, if it is then Naomily will have been together over 4 years in Fire and they're still totally in love

If Fire ends at Christmas that's corny but happy Naomily for a present would be sweet.
