Just a note. I don't feel like Katie's development was forced. Just not as natural and slow moving as Emily's was in s3. But s4 was insular, so it's understandable. S4 Emily is another story.

That's all we really saw with them for the majority of s4. If only s4 was less insular and we got to see more of the characters throughout. Emily wasn't the only one suffering from lack of screentime.

It's interesting but Naomi was the one without an episode but I felt like I saw more of her throughout the show? Naomi had dialogue in 4x03 and 4x07, however small. Emily got nothing.

ETA: I had to post this, lol. I'm not sure I totally get it though. I guess it's because Naomi and Emily like to have sex in public places? The lake was secluded enough. They just did blowbacks, and shared lots of eye!sex and had a moment, so there's no way they could have stopped themselves. That was a gorgeous scene. The s4 one was a bit out there, I agree. Anyone could have walked in.

I just remembered the shampoo bottles from the novel though, maybe they were talking about that. If so, I know what they mean.

I would say the shampoo bottles was totally unrealistic is a so-called friend hadn't sent me a porn clip with a woman doing it in a shop aisle

Naomi and Emily had the lake scene which was such a standout, so heartfelt. Then we saw them in bed in 3x09, which was a lovely scene. The stroking and tenderness.

The army cadet room was a random place to get it on admittedly, but I'll take it! That's pretty much it for them but hoping for one more in the specials if they come back. Maybe?

Naomily can keep it for the privacy of their own bathroon. Though I do know where Ali got the idea from now, watching way too much porn.

I see The Fades is up for a BAFTA as a show. Congrats JT, Lily and Daniel. It was obviously a good show, shame it didn't click with the viewers. Ratings are important on tv these days not the quality of the shows acting and writing.

Yes, JT is up for a BAFTA nod as best writer. The Fades is up for best show, but I can't see it winning as it's a small cancelled show. But being up for a BAFTA is a big honor by itself

ask Ed Himes he was apparently chuffed for his BAFTA nom even if he didn't win.

I see nothing Skins related is up for a nom. Shocker that

That's really, really great. I was so happy for JT and his nom and I'm even happier now to hear about this new nomination for the show. A nom is already excellent.
