Cassie can trick everyone. In her magical world the skinny bonkers girl still manages to fool everyone that she’s beating her eating disorder. Her parents Marcus and Margeritte are well and truly duped. But Sid isn’t. Good old geeky Sid who inadvertently steps out of Tony’s shadow to win a place in Cassie’s heart by being the only person to possibly notice and care what happens to her. The only person except Allan that is, Allan the taxi driver, who takes her to the clinic and who is the only adult she trusts, and the only person to ever see her actually eat anything. Meanwhile, Michelle has a food issue of her own when Mum returns from holiday to find their house has been the scene of one almighty food and booze fight. But with new husband Malcolm in tow, will she even notice?

I love how the description makes it seem like the Michelle storyline is actually well, a storyline. lols.

I really enjoyed Cassie's S1 episode. It was a very nice introduction to her character, and I loved Allan so much.

? It was like two seconds.

This episode made me love Cassie! Sometimes when I'm annoyed at her from the things she did in S2 I try to remember it. To me this episode was one of the best of the season, hands down. The way they handled Cassie's eating disorder was so original.

I loved the way they handled her eating disorder as well. It didn't play out like an after school special. They weren't judging Cassie. And she was so odd and so out there, but so endearing at the same time. I think pretty much everyone fell in love with her character during this episode.

Definitely! I already loved her in the pilot but this episode gave her so much depth, and she was truly an unique character. I love her scenes in the clinic.

And as far as sub-plots go, I loved Sid beeing afraid of his drug dealer

It really did give her depth. You saw so much of her character and all these layers to her were explored. It just fit together nicely. I loved that other girl in the clinic, who we saw later in the finale. Nice continuity there.

That was quite amusing. And I was scared for him, to be honest.

That girl was good, yeah! She reminds me of someone but I can't place it.

I was scared, too

And poor Sid was so helpless. I felt bad for him when everyone started walking away at one point, saying they had to go to classes and stuff. I think Jal was the last one standing, right?

I don't remember, but that sounds right. Jal's a loyal person, and I think she would be the last one to leave, still trying to be there for him and help. Even though them all leaving didn't really make me feel bad for him, IDK.

Yeah same here. It was kinda flawless

Everytime I think of it I remember that scene when Cassie was on the bus and a little boy offers her a cookie and she just stares at him. Hannah played that so well.

She really did play that scene perfectly. She didn't play it over the top, it was subtle, but perfect. Hannah really nailed all of her scenes.

I think that was Cassie at her best. I liked her in that episode more than I did in all others.
