I'm honestly confused This is not a race, everyone has it own opinion on things and proving the other wrong is really not the point. I have my opinions, nothing will change that. I believe we could say the same for every other poster. I think it's beautiful that you're so passionate about the characters and I'm really glad you're enjoying season 6. Last year there was so much hate in regards to gen.3 but they could have all come here at once and told me why they didn't like it and I still would have loved these kids. People won't always see things same way you do, I don't see where's the problem in it.

The only ridicolous thing is that apparently everyone that disagree with you say irrational things based on a superficial watch of season 5.
No one here tried to change your opinions.And I don't think anyone was ever implying you were too stupid to get something.

I don't prefer it over season 5 (but there are two episodes left,so who knows? ) but I prefer it over season 4,this is sure.
Season 4 was so character-centric. You had to wait the character's episode to see how the character's storyline was going to develop. Except for Cook. I hated it, to be honest.
At least with this generation the spirit of the gang is still here. It is a relief to be honest. Aside from character's changes I can still say that friendships are everywhere. And it's good. This is what Skins is about to my eyes. It was the friendship between Tony and Sid that invested me into the show. It's actually a lovely thing to see so many friendships with this cast.
Until now I have to say I loved half of the episodes.
Alex,Mini,Alo and Liv episodes were amazing to watch. They're definitely in my favourites episodes of the show.
I'm leaving Rich episode aside at the moment,because I feel like I'll understand it way better once we will know how Richard's storyline will end.Even though I'll always hate forever the useless distruction of Grace's house. Just dumb. It was just put there to show how much these kids "rock",I presume
It's a pity JB left. Seriously. They were his creatures,his babies...:'( I was just worried about Rich and Grace when he left,since he was the one who wrote both their episodes,but I have to say they were not ruined like other characters have been at least.
I think if he were left in charge,first of all Grace would have not died.And characters would have progressed for real.
I'm glad he could see the love from us real and devoted fans on skinsfans.I think season 5 had the highest votes ever there And I remember he lurked there!

I'm confused what you're talking about here. If this is about the fact that Mini said her and Nick had been having sex all the time, then you received reply:

On the point of bashing, I don't think it really is bashing when they are trying to explain to you that their hate of the series isn't irrational.

However if you do feel you are bashed, I think it's better to take this to the pm's rather than on the thread. So please pm us mods with any issues you may have and we can discuss it privately.

Just maybe, it can be slightly misunderstood what we mean by "poster bashing". Calling people names, swearing at people because they don't share your opinion and so on are very common examples of it.
Opinions are what make up every threaded discussion board. It wouldn't be any fun, and none of us would learn and grow from the exchange of ideas, if all of us believed exactly the same thing, or "saw" exactly the same thing. Bashing has all to do with how you use language to convey said opinion. On the other hand, posters are free and encouraged to use "constructive criticism". When a poster defines a problem, posts why they think it's a problem, then people can debate about it. Just leave each other out of it by keeping in mind you're talking about the show and your personal opinion on it and probably you won't have to worry about receiving bashing, or a bashing warning from us.
It's your opinion. Plain and simple. Your perspective is different, leading you to a different opinion? Great! Post your opinion. Of the show or the characters involved in the show - not the poster that you disagree with.


Dark-Zero: I've been reading again every post on this thread but as Rachel already told you, what I see is people trying to explain their hate isn't as irrational as you say. Please if you have some complaints with a poster in particular, take it to pm or just avoid replying to said poster if you see nothing good will come about it, sometimes it's for the best.

diu12: posters who started bashing have already been warned privately several times. Personally, I've even been told I had no right to unapprove the incriminating posts. Unfortunately mods can't use the Imperio curse via private messages (not that we would want to ofc) but warnings sadly become official if they're not understood after being repeated for a while.



Please guys, stop bickering Just express your opinion respecting the others, I'm sure it's way more fun that way. No one is gonna agree with you all the time, but as long as you believe in what you love and respect other posters for doing the same, it can oly be fun.
