It was freezing and when you’ve got a sex scene, there’s parts of your body that are exposed and sometimes a man doesn’t like to feel small.. emotionally. And it’s times like that where he might feel small physically. Next question please.

Honestly, I don't care about Skins anymore. This show died with 4X07 to me and never for a second I believed it could be redeemed, not after the creators openly stated that they were gonna keep "pushing limits" which is probably their interpretation of ridiculous and stupid storylines such as murderous psychiatrsit with a bat which they probably considered a masterpiece. The fact that they don't accept criticism at all and are being disgustingly rude to fans is already the indecation of their unwillingess to learn from their mistakes. In fact, they don't even acknowledge that they madde mistakes, they still keep thinking that what they did with S4 final was amazing and creative despite the utter stuoidity of it. This show had and has some good writers but they don't have the last say. The last say is up to JB and BE, people who allow themselves directly insult fans and who's idea of good writing is writing something "kind of senseless", but "at least very provocative".

So I decided that I'll focus on my Freddie/Freffy love and that's it. That is all I ever loved about Skins anyway.

Sorry, but the death was Grace was done delicately and beautifully imo. I didn't want it to happen but it was done miles better than the way they did freddie's death.

chris's death wasn't done for the sake of shock. it was handled very beautifully. thankfully his character was never mistreated. very few things were in gen 1.

I'm glad and I know it didn't happen to Chris and Grace the way it did with Freddie, but I think killing anyone in gen 3 was contrived imo (especially through unnatural causes such as car crash). As for Freddie, I'll never forgive the show for what was done to him and for mistreating him in every single way possible. Anyway, not gonna get into it, because it puts me into a bitchy mood :lol:

i agree about grace. making death a tradition for every generation is fcking ridiculous. yeah the only one done well was chris's.

The death tradition became predictable and overused. Skins, having their attitude of original and edgy drama, should have come up with something better.

i really hope there is not a generation four. because they clearly have run out of ideas. it's a shame because there's so many better routes they could go down. :rolleyes: s5 was so great and now there's this wtf-fest. i really cannot believe they're doing death a third time.

anyway, i hope you're still planning on watching gen 1 mary :D i just finished rewatching s1. effy's reaction to something that happens to tony kills me. i won't spoil although i'm sure you already heard what happens.

Haha, I actually know about the Tony accedent and I saw Effy's reaction :D It was a very emotional scene :nod: I don't know if I watch gen 1 or not, first I need to get over the annoyance with this show overall, but I'm planning on at least trying to get into gen 1. To see if it works for me.

Skins need to be over. The only good things they could do they did. Now they really ran out of ideas and became beyond cliched and stereotypical. There really are so many things to discuss and to address yet they choose to do something predictable and overdo things that shouldn't have been done in the first place such as random deaths. I feel like Skins just collected all the issues that teens can have but they didn't bother to give a deeper look into them. Shame because it could have been wonderful. Even with gen 2 it could have been ,but unfortunatelly it ended up being a joke in the end.

still don't like any of them dying tho, fair enough death storylines are neccessary at some point, but its now a tradition and they do it for shock value, and in Freddie's case, because they could.....
