S1 Effy or S3 Effy?

I am new posting here but been hanging around for quite some time now. Okay Emily or Katie? For me there should not be an answer because both have different personalities and storylines. Both also had there own shining moment of awesome. Hm I guess it depends on who you appreciate more with those two. Storywise, I think Emily bests Katie more becuase Emily had more of a generation storyline and development compared to Katie who for me seemed to have only related storylines or just added ones with her sister or with effy and freddie. Emily's character development happened from s3ep1 to s4ep8 (albeit good or bad) while for me personally katie's only happened during the first part of s4. Not saying Katie didn't have a good development just saying I feel like the writers focused more on emily than Katie... With s3 they did not know the impact naomi and emily will give the audience but still when you look at s3, emily felt like she was focused more. With s4, the trend continued maybe because of naomily or it was just that emily was meant to always have a superior storyline. Plus katie did not have a pairing whatsoever and gen 2 being a romantic pairing focused gen she did not have much scope to deal with. In terms of how one handles oneself when down, I think katie is better with it than emily. I think katie when down can put herself up on herself without depending on people and stuff a good example is s4ep4. Katie was able to handle all the bad things happening on her life and still come out better. With emily, when something bad happens to her, she tends to downward spiral and make bad decision before making a right one or pulling herself up imo. Emily is more sensitive so she is more intense in her feelings than katie. Although Emily did handle her whole life being down by everyone and still was composed. I think what demolishes emily entirely for a time is being heart broken. THAT IS A FEELING SHE SEEMS TO CANNOT HANDLE EASILY. Katie has not fallen in love so who knows? So I think in the end, both twins have their own strengths and weaknesses. SO yeah they are both tied for me,
