It really was. When I downloaded music from the series a lot of it was from her episode. I think Katie's was the one I had the most from though, Emily's being second.

That song is one of my favs from Skins. It really went great with the scene as it's more the kind of music I listened to.
I'm crazy for the guitar in that song. It's so awesome

I liked the choice generally for 402, the Segal piece was beautiful and haunting imo. Wasn't so keen on 404 *hides* but I thought 401/5 were great and 403 outstanding.

Same here. After watching it I told my friend to download it because it sounded like it belonged on guitar hero and then she texted me back and told me that they actually DO have a song on guitar hero

Haunting is a great word to describe the Segal piece. I still get that creepy feeling in my stomach when I hear it.

The music in 404 goes well with the episode, but isn't my kind as much either. I loved the music in 401.

The Segal piece in 402 is brilliant. It's so fcking beautiful.

I thought the choices in 404 suited the ep quite well and the Gloria Cycles track was perfect, I'm just picky about music so ignore me

Defintely - the moment it came back in during the club scene and then Naomi running after Ems was when I finally realised things were about to get seriously heavy.

Yah you could just sense things were getting intense. I love that moment where Naomi's talking to Emily while walking up the stairs and Emily almost seems mesmerized by her. And then when the door slams and she realizes Matt's gone she snaps back to reality. It makes you realize what a hold Naomi has on Emily.

She did, and Emily was mostly guided by her heart so the door slamming was quite a clever but simple way of the reality suddenly encroaching, head-having-to-rule-heart for once. There was no way she was about to let it go however much it hurt and however ill-prepared she was for the outcome, although the novel hinted at the spell Naomi had over Ems being a huge problem. Lol, I read it back and wonder why I didn't see certain things coming......

Me too.
Reading it back, if there's one character they sort of set up is Naomi. That's the good thing one takes from the novel, despite the writing. And it also shows that Emily kinda of expected Noami to do something stupid in a bad moment for her.
One of my fav things about Ems is how smart she is and how well she knows Naomi, it's crazy, but cool. lol

Emily is too brave to ignore what she knew was the truth. I like that in that last moment she still calls Naomi, Naoms and I think she's giving Naomi the chance to be the one explaining, but Emily would never run away from the truth, that was never her.

exactly. Emily was finally ready to hear the truth and went with her head rather than her heart.

I think your right. She wanted Naomi to tell her herself, but it didn't happen. So she went ahead and found out the truth for herself. She knew she had to face it no matter how horrible it was. That's why I love Emily. So, so brave.
